What is the work of a nanny? SARA TUMBLE, the former nanny of HEATHER MILLS said that she was being made to blow-dry her employer's hair, spray tan her and made her work up to midnight. She is now suing Heather Mills, the ex-wife of PAUL MC CARTNEY.

Heather Mills is being taken to court by her nanny over allegations of sex discrimination and intimidation.

Sara Trumble claims Heather was ordered to go above and beyond her role as Beatrice’s nanny.

She has complained she was made to work as late as midnight, blow-dry Heather’s hair and even give the former model naked spray tans.

A constructive dismissal claim was lodged with an employment tribunal last week.

The two sides have 28 days to come to a negotiated settlement or face airing their dispute in open court.

Sara, 24, says she was only supposed to look after Beatrice, now aged five, Heather’s daughter with ex-husband Sir Paul McCartney.

But she claims her job was altered when she went back to work after taking maternity leave earlier this year.

She resigned in September and, after an argument with Heather, refused to work her notice.

EARTHA KITT DIED OF COLON CANCER

EARTHA KITT died of colon cancer at age 81. I did not really watched her performed when she was young but I heard her records. She is I believe the first Catwoman.

NEW YORK - Eartha Kitt, a sultry singer, dancer and actress who rose from South Carolina cotton fields to become an international symbol of elegance and sensuality, has died, a family spokesman said. She was 81.

Andrew Freedman said Kitt, who was recently treated at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, died Thursday in Connecticut of colon cancer.

Kitt, a self-proclaimed "sex kitten" famous for her catlike purr, was one of America's most versatile performers, winning two Emmys and nabbing a third nomination. She also was nominated for several Tonys and two Grammys

David Copperfield's magic assistant, seriously injured during a performance, was recovering in the hospital Friday with multiple arm fractures repaired with bolts and pins.

The man, who is only being identified as "Brandon," was injured on-stage when his arm was pulled into the metal blades of a large, industrial fan while helping Copperfield during an illusion.

One of the first to see him after awaking from several hours of surgery was Copperfield. A rep for Copperfield said the man began cracking jokes in his hospital bed after awaking and was presented with a children's magic set.

"We're just thankful Brandon's injuries weren't worse," Copperfield said in a statement.

Angie Harmon gave birth to third daughter

I have known Angie Harmon in Law and Order but I did not know her personal life.
So she got already three daughters.

PETER "COLUMBO" FALK HAS ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE

Why do detectives have to be eccentric? Peter Falk in his TV role as detective was a relentless investigator who pestered the suspects by asking them questions repeatedly. He drove an old beat up sedan which most of the time gave him engine trouble.

Now this Falk, according to the daughter is suffering from Alzheimer's that she sought the approval of the court to assign her as conservator.

LOS ANGELES — A court document filed by Peter Falk's daughter says the Emmy-winning actor is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Catherine Falk is seeking a court's approval for a conservatorship of her 81-year-old father, who she claims no longer recognizes people. A hearing has been scheduled for late January.

Falk is familiar to most audiences as the star of the television series "Columbo," for which he won four Emmys. He was also nominated twice for Academy Awards for movie roles in 1959 and 1960.

The petition filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court states Falk lives in Beverly Hills with his wife and recently had hip surgery and requires constant care.

A phone message left for Falk's manager was not immediately returned Tuesday.

Madonna's Expensive Divorce

The amount $ 76 million is hardly a quarter of the total value of the combined 525 million worth of properties of Madonna and Guy Ritchie but this is the amount that the singer is going to pay her film director husband.

Expensive divorce eh. I thought Pal McCartney's divorce settlement with his former wife Heather Mills was already the highest.

LONDON — Madonna has settled her divorce with ex-husband Guy Ritchie by also parting with at least 50 million pounds ($76 million), the singer's spokeswoman said Monday.

Liz Rosenberg told The Associated Press the settlement was in the range of 50 million to 60 million pounds ($76 million to $92 million) as part of their divorce agreement, a figure she said included the value of the couple's country home, Ashcombe House in western England, which Ritchie will keep.

Rosenberg said the couple's west London pub _ the Punchbowl _ would also remain with Ritchie.

A representative for the British filmmaker declined comment.

The couple were reportedly worth some $525 million, the vast majority of which belonged to Madonna. Ritchie had an estimated $35 million fortune.

Their multimillion pound (dollar) settlement is about twice the size paid out in Britain's latest high-profile celebrity divorce, that of former Beatle Paul McCartney and model Heather Mills.

"I'd assume it's one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement," Rosenberg said.

The biggest contested divorce settlement in English history was the 48 million pounds (about $90 million at the time) insurance tycoon John Charman was ordered to pay his ex-wife in 2006.

MACAULAY CULKIN'S SISTER DIED IN AN ACCIDENT

Remember Macaulay Culkin, the cute boy in the Home Alone movies which are usually show during Christmas. He has grown and is 28 years old. His sister is only a year older at 29.
The sister Dakota culkin died last Wednesday after being struck by a car.

LOS ANGELES — Police say Macaulay Culkin's sister Dakota Culkin was killed after she stepped in front of a car in west Los Angeles.

Police spokesman Richard French says Dakota Culkin was struck Tuesday night after she stepped into the street. She died a day later at a Los Angeles hospital after suffering massive head injuries.

French says there is no active criminal investigation.

Police say the driver stopped and tried to help the 29-year-old. Officers determined the motorist wasn't driving drunk and followed all laws.

Macaulay Culkin's spokeswoman, Michelle Bega, said it was a "terrible tragic accident" and the family had no further comment.

Recession also affecting TV daytime dramas?

It must be the loss of some advertisers that the TV daytime dramas are also into cost cutting. According to the news, even Susan Lucci is among those whose paychecks are going to shrink while other old stars are going to be let go.

The troubles that are part of imaginary life on daytime dramas are hitting those shows for real in the form of budget cuts and dismissals.

"All My Children" regulars including longtime stars Susan Lucci, Michael E. Knight and Ray MacDonnell are seeing their paychecks shrink as part of a cost-cutting policy being applied to all three of ABC's soaps, including "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital."

Without offering specifics, ABC Daytime on Tuesday confirmed a new focus on belt-tightening. A statement from the network spoke of "carefully and responsibly managing our costs, which include some production cuts, but in ways the audience will not see on screen."

“She’s been so careful with her image lately, it came as a surprise that she’d turn around and have her party at a club,” said one person in the Spears inner circle. “We don’t expect anything bad to happen, but it just sounds like trouble on the surface.”

That said, “Everyone’s really excited that Britney’s back,” says another person who was privy to some of the party planning. “And it’s not about it (the party) being at a nightclub, it’s about what’s going to happen in the space.”

No Variety Show for Rosie O'Donnel

Rosie O'Donnell's dream of bringing back the television variety show was dashed.

Her NBC special the night before the Thanksgiving holiday attracted a meager audience of 5 million viewers. That was ranked 81st among the prime-time shows in Nielsen Media Research's weekly ranking released Tuesday.

The show was widely considered a test drive: if it intrigued audiences, an O'Donnell variety show could be a potential series.

Ricki Lake is no longer fat

I could not believe it but Ricki Lake seems a new woman with her new slim look. She claimed that she had no surgery. Since I first saw her, she was already on the fat side.

Ricki Lake has trimmed 140 lbs. from her all-time top weight of 270 lbs. – and says she is holding steady.

"I can't believe I was a fat person for most of my life," the former talk show host, rocking a sexy black Herve Leger dress (size small), told PEOPLE at a recent benefit for the New Space for Women's Health, a New York City birthing center slated to open in 2010.

"I didn't have surgery and I worked hard. There's no secret. I'm active. I watch what I eat," Lake, 40, adds.
