At 1 pm today, the memorial service of Michael JACKSON is going to be held at Staples center. The king of Pop's casket is going to be brought to the center for the memorial.

LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson’s casket will be taken to the singer’s star-studded memorial in downtown Los Angeles, adding to the spectacle that promises to be among the biggest celebrity sendoffs of all time.

“Mr. Jackson’s remains will be going to the Staples Center. We’re not giving any details,” Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton said Tuesday.

A motorcade has left the home of Jackson’s parents, apparently heading for a private service in advance of a star's memorial.

LOS ANGELES - Kobe Bryant, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder are among the celebrities who will participate in the memorial service for singer Michael Jackson on Tuesday at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, the Jackson family announced on Monday.

Other participants include Motown record label founder Berry Gordy, Magic Johnson, Brooke Shields, Smokey Robinson, Lionel Richie, Usher, Martin Luther King III, and Shaheen Jafargholi, a young finalist from “Britain’s Got Talent.” No information was released about the participants’ specific roles in the event, and the announcement said no further information would be forthcoming.

One person who will not be attending is Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe. Her attorney, Marta Almli, issued a statement saying "the onslaught of media attention has made it clear (Rowe’s) attendance would be an unnecessary distraction to an event that should focus exclusively on Michael’s legacy.

With all her negative statements about Michael, she better not come.

Farrah Fawcett's family chose a private and closed- to -the media funeral service.

Only a few of her friends came to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles. Among them were "Charlie's Angels" co-star Kate Jackson and former model Cheryl Tiegs.

Her son was also allowed to attend the service.

Pitchman extraordinaire Billy Mays died from a pulmonary embolism, according to the coroner in Tampa, Fla., who announced preliminary autopsy results at a press conference Monday. Evidence of heart disease was also found.

According to Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Vernard Adams, Mays "had an enlarged heart, a thickening of the wall of the ventricle which takes blood to the heart." Final results of the autopsy and cause of death will not be known for several weeks.

Mays, 50, the bearded man with the booming voice best known for his ubiquitous OxiClean ads died in his sleep in his Florida home over the weekend.

Farrah Fawcett died today after battling anal cancer for three years.

Her long time partner Ryan O' Neal was with her at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica,California when she died.

Fawcett's son by Ryan, Redmond was informed oof the death.

Fawcett's death was confirmed by Paul Bloch, one of her representatives at Rogers and Cowan, an entertainment public relations firm.

Fawcett, who checked into a hospital in early April, had been battling anal cancer on and off for three years.

O'Neal is the father of Fawcett's son, Redmond O'Neal, born in 1985. Redmond O'Neal is in an intense rehabilitation program conducted in the Los Angeles county jail, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore told CNN on Thursday.

Fawcett's son was informed on Wednesday night by a grief counselor and a chaplain that his mother's death was imminent, and a grief counselor and chaplain also told him when she died, Whitmore said.

The young man, who is currently with a chaplain, has spoken with his father, Whitmore said.

Ryan O'Neal had recently told People magazine that the sex symbol was declining.

"She stays in bed now. The doctors see that she is comfortable. Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment. The treatment has pretty much ended," he said in a story posted May 7.

David Carradine found dead in Bangkok Thailand Hotel

David Carradine,the Bill in the Kill Bill movies was found dead in the Bangkok, Thailand Hotel.


He became popular in the TV series Kung Fu which was supposed to be starred by Bruce Lee.

The initial police report indicated that Carradine had committed suicide by hanging himself; he was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and body. Carradine was in Bangkok to shoot his latest movie, Stretch, but the film crew were aware of his absence when they went to dine out at a restaurant on June 3.

The dream did not come to reailty for Susan Boyle as Diversity became the Britain's Got Talent winner tonight.

Susan Boyle's reality show journey ended Saturday with a second-place finish to a dance troupe called "Diversity" on the final of the television show "Britain's Got Talent."

After the announcement, Boyle curtsied to the audience and gave them her signature hip shake.

Oprah presents Susan Boyle and the other World Talents

Oprah presented several talents from around the world in her Monday episode World Got Talent. Simon Cowell was the special guest to help her in the presentation.

Among those I like is Susan Boyle.

She was the first to be featured via satellite interview. She was not allowed to sing in Oprah by the Britain Talent producers. She was shown singing in the video clip of BT where one can see the many rolleyes that Simon Cowell made before Susan Boyle sang.

The two time-champion of Dancing with the Stars, Julianne Hough will take a break during the Dancing with the Stars next season,

Julianne Hough says she will not be back on “Dancing With the Stars” for season nine.

“I’m not doing next season,” Hough told Access Hollywood after she and her partner, country singer Chuck Wicks, were eliminated from the competition show on Tuesday night.

This isn’t the first time Hough has pledged not to return to the show for the next season. In November 2008, she hit her blog and said she wouldn’t be appearing in season eight. But she changed her mind when she was given the opportunity to dance with her real-life love, Wicks.

Twentieth Century Fox has decided to postpone the premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine set for Wednesday in Mexico City, as the city remains paralyzed by the virus that has killed over 100 people. Dozens of cases of swine flu have also been detected stateside. (
"We were not only concerned about Hugh's welfare – and we would never send anyone into harm's way – but we also have an enormous office filled with people we care about," says a rep for the studio. "There was no point in proceeding under the current conditions."

The Mexico government has asked for residents to stay home, shutting down schools and even the nation's top movie-theater chains have opted to shut down dozens of cinemas. Hugh Jackman was the only cast member from the film expected to attend the Mexico City premiere.

The group performance was repeated by the celebrities and professional dancers.

Host Tom Bergeron started the elimination by declaring the safety of Chuck Wicks, Melissa Rycroft, and Shawn Johnson. It took a while before the pairs were declared safe due to the large number of musical numbers presented in the show.

When he finally got back to it, the next person safe was Lil’ Kim, followed by Gilles and Cheryl. That left Lawrence Taylor and Ty Murray as the final two. With the show running long, Tom quickly informed Lawrence that his time was up.

Shortly after Mel Gibson's wife Robyn filed for divorce last week, details emerged about a woman the actor-filmmaker has been spending a lot of time with – even taking her on a family vacation to Costa Rica – named Oksana. She is, sources tell PEOPLE, a Russian singer signed to Mel Gibson's record label, Icon Records.

Now the identity of his mystery girlfriend may be revealed: Public records suggest Oksana Grigorieva, 39, an ex of former James Bond star Timothy Dalton, has lived in a house linked to Gibson, 53.

The home, purchased in Sherman Oaks, Calif., in December 2008, has an ownership trust administered by the CFO of Mel Gibson's production company, Icon.

While neither Grigorieva nor Gibson have commented, Grigorieva certainly resembles the leggy brunette photographed with Gibson on the Boston set of his upcoming film, Edge of Darkness, and seen frolicking in the surf with the star in Costa Rica.

A composer, Grigorieva is dedicated to her craft, her former agent Victor Kruglov tells PEOPLE. "She'll never give up with her music," says Kruglov, who has seen photographs of Mel's mystery woman and believes she and Grigorieva are one and the same. "She loves it."

Though she rarely confided in him about her love life, Kruglov says Grigorieva did once complain about trouble with a boyfriend – but stopped short of sharing specifics. "She was always very discreet about her personal business," he adds.

She has one son with the 63-year-old Dalton, Alexander, who is based in Los Angeles.

Helio Castroneves acquited from tax evasion charges

The acquittal of Helio Castroneves from tax evasion charges showed that ignorance of law particularly tax laws does not make the accused guilty.

Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves and his sister were found not guilty of six charges of tax evasion on Friday.

The jury remained hung on the one count of conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government for both defendants, leading the judge to declare a mistrial on that count, Local 10's Todd Tongen reported.

Castroneves' lawyer, Alan Miller, has also been found not guilty of all the charges against him.

Helio Castroneves and his sister, Katiucia, shed tears when the verdict was read.

Steve Wozniak in the Wedding Entourage of Karina Smirnoff

Even though Steve Wozniak has been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, he still will be seeing Karina Smirnoff for her wedding to Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

His “Dancing With the Stars” days may now be over, but Steve Wozniak already has at least one more “Dancing” commitment lined up: Karina Smirnoff’s wedding.

Wozniak, who was eliminated from the competition along with Holly Madison on Tuesday night, will be in attendance when his professional partner, Smirnoff, ties the knot with fellow “Dancing” pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

But not only will the computer wiz be on hand for the nuptials, he will be part of them.

“Steve is going to be in the wedding,” Smirnoff told Access Hollywood on Tuesday night.

And while Wozniak and Smirnoff may have only had a few weeks together on the dance floor, Wozniak clearly made quite an impression on his partner.

“Steve is a person that once you meet him, you don’t want to let him go,” she added. “He’s definitely a keeper.”

Another favorite professional dancer of mine is also married to another professional Alec Mazo.
