David Archuleta has already signed a contract with ith 19 Recordings/Jive Records. He is the runner up in the recently concluded American Idol.
His three songs are on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart — his “Idol” cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine,” his rendition of “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me” and “In This Moment,” the song he performed during the “Idol” finale.
His father, Jeff Archuleta however was stopped by American Idol officials in performing a thank-you concert in Salt Lake City.
He was reminded that the teen is still under contract to do the "American Idol" Live Tour this summer.
