Sanjaya Malakar 's supporters wanted to challenge Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson who openly manifested their dislike to Sanjaya by pouring in their votes. Even he himself was surprised that he was staying.
Ratings from the judges for these two singers would make you believe that they were most likely the contestants to go. BUT THEY STAYED ON. Thanks to their supporters.
AJ Tabaldo's elimination surprised the three judges. He was one of the best contenders for the 12 semi-finalists.
Nick Pedro got good voice but the judges felt that he has no charisma. America agreed by voting him out.
