First contestant was a big guy. Really big. He's a health inspector. Then he sang ala soprano. The judges were not pleased. So was the crowd.

Contestant: Alexandra Pyles
Talent: martial arts

The 10-year-old Alexandra Pyles did a martial arts routine with her father.

Judges Comment:

David: "It is phenomenal". He wants her to be her security. -yes
Sharon: "That would not work in Vegas." Still she voted yes for her to go Vegas.
Piers:"Very creative. The reality check here is that you are very good, but that act is not going to win America's Got Talent." He voted no.

Contestant:Sarah Lenore
Talent: singing
Sarah Lenore sang accompanying herself in the guitar Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats". The crowd liked her.

" Sharon Osbourne said before the judges unanimously sent her to the next round.

David: You're raw but you have a great potential . You got an amazing voice-yes

Sharon: "You've got to work on your individuality because there are a lot of blond young pretty girls that sing and play guitar — but I think you have a great future,yes

This is a group of young people who bonded together.

Talent: dance and sing

A group of four men from New York who mixed old and new musical styles to come up with a fresh song-and-dance number. that Hasselhoff called his favorite act of the day. "I am seeing a great representation of what this town is about" Hasselhoff gushed afterwards.

Contestant:Victoria Jacoby
Talent: contortionist

Sharon: "My goodness, we can all see how hard you have studied, and you know your craft. You really deserve to be here." Yes

Contestant:Mat and Elaine
Talent: polka

The husband-and-wife team danced what the husband's claimed he created, the "Polka Today." The crowd found it bizaare.

David: Polka has been with us for generations. "It looked like you were having a lot of fun, but I didn't quite get it.". -No

Sharon: "You could fun with a sack race, but we don't want to see a sack race, do we? That was silly dancing,"- No

He was buzzed three times for singing "The Phil Song". The audience booed.

Peter McIntosh cursed Morgan and left the stage with the crowd booing.

Talent: singer

Debra Weiner sang "Dancing in the Streets," and despite the buzzer and booing, she would not leave the stage. David H. danced with her off the stage.

Contestant:Kyle Rifkin
Talent: singer

Rifkin performed "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" by the Temptations. It was the saddest audition with his sob story.

David: "There are times that I hate being a judge on this show and there are other times — like now — when I absolutely love it. You are what this show is about,"-Yes
Sharon: you sing with a big deal of heart
Piers: you got a family here? "When this show works at its best is when we take a guy like you, who comes from no great privileged background or anything, and as you perform, you just feel like you're watching the heart of America. You are right up there with the best we've seen,"-yes

I hate it when they make me cry cat. it's good that the show is now only good for an hour.
