Michael Phelps' New Condo

According to TMZ, Michael Phelps, the Olympic swimmer who brought eight gold medals for the US team in the recently concuded Beijing Olympics has bought a new pad.

It is worth 1.6 million. A 4,080 sq. ft.complex, it has a rooftop terrace, a private screening room, a state of the art gym, a clubhouse with pool tables.

MICHAEL JACKSON, GOLDEN BOY AT 50

I could not believe it, MICHAEL JACKSON is already 50 and he celebrated it with cakes and balloons. yay.

Well he said that it is a celebration for his kids. he wanted the kids to enjoy whatever he missed when he was young because he was already in showbiz.

When interviewed, he told the ABC news, he said that he still have great projects that he wanted to do.

As for his career, Jackson said he's "looking forward to doing a lot of great things. ... I think the best is yet to come in my true humble opinion."

He said recording the blockbuster albums "Thriller" and "Off the Wall" were the happiest times of his life.

"That meant very much to me and seemed to be received so beautifully by the public and the world. You know, I enjoyed it very much," he said.

David Duchony, sex addict?

I've read about celebrities entering rehabs for drug addiction and for drinking but this is the first time I heard about sex addiction.

Pardon me, but does that mean? I love Tea Leoni. I love her beauty. It must be very stressful for her to have a husband with this kind of problem. I think what David Duchony did was the right thing.

"I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction," the actor says in an exclusive statement. "I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."

Is Britney Spears not yet ready to perform in the Music Awards again after that much criticized appearance last year?

Instead of suffering again for humiliation, it is better that she does it when she has already changed.

Pop star Britney Spears is not going to perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, her manager has said.

It had been reported that Spears was in talks to perform next month - a year after her widely criticised comeback performance on the show.

"Contrary to media reports, Britney was never slated to perform on this year's VMAs," said Larry Rudolph.

DANCING WITH THE STARS CELEBRITY DANCERS ANNOUNCED OFFICIALLY

In my previous blog about the Dancing with the Stars Season 7 celebrity dancers, I omitted the name of Cloris Leachman because I thought there was a mistake. It is usually 12 celebrities only and not 13. But why did I exclude Cloris? Because when I google her background, I found out that she is already in her 80's. I could not believe it. She's older than my mom and she's still dancing.
Wow, this is something to look forward to. So far the oldest participant was Priscilla Presley who was only in her early 60's.

JEAN RENO DID NOT SUFFER A HEART ATTACK

I have watched THE PROFESSIONAL, several times... the movie of French actor Jean Reno where as a professional assassin, he died for the twelve year old girl Natalie Portman to avenge her family's death from a corrupt police officer. I just love that tender scene where he appeared to be clueless when the girl was telling him that she has fallen in love with him.

I have just watched another old movie where he was a retired cop and was asked to help in the serial killings.

Great actor.

So when I heard the news that he suffered a heart attack, I became sad only to find out that it is not true.

His publicist said that it was just a heartburn and gastroenterities.

He is still on vacation in the Carribean.

I did not know that he has Spanish parentage. Born in Casablanca of Spanish-exile parents, Reno came to France at 12. He is currently a resident of both Los Angeles and Paris.

As early this week, names have been floated as to who will comprise the group of the celebrities.Since this is not official yet, there are no bios provided. I have to research for their short bio.

My BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING LIST-Are you naughty or nice?

My favorite day is Thanksgiving Day…ermm actually it is the day after Thursday…the day they call Black Friday..not because my favorite color is black for a dress which makes me look slimmer. Ahem…it is because it's the day when I can buy stuff for my Christmas list at lower prices. In the past years, my roommate had to practically drag me out of my bed so we can join the early birds in the mall. It's cold and 5:00 am is still dark. By that time, there were already long queues of bargain hunters outside the stores. Argh.

Last year a friend e-mailed me a list which I ignored. He did not tell me the source. This time I know where to get my own shopping list.

The thanksgiving ads provides the black Friday important information which include list of merchants which are participating in the black Friday sale and what are the items for sale at discounted prices. They will be alerting consumers when there are new ads and what items will be on sale.

Isn't it nice that there is a better way to do shopping while you are enjoying your warm bed at this time of the year? Online. And great savings too. You don't even have to wait until the day to know what items will be available at cheap prices on Black Friday and if ever you still want to enjoy going to the store, you can simply obtain yor shopping list to buy the items.

Great!!! Simply great for me who has a lot of nephews, nieces, godchildren and friends to remember during Holiday Season. That day, I am a celebrity too. I give away gifts. It was a tradition handed down to us by our parents.


I am particularly interested in the Circuit City ad.

Ahh, my nephew wants a laptop and I already saw one within my budget. The younger ones may appreciate the play stations. For the niece, she has been hinting that she likes a new digital camera.

Frankly, the Christmas list is long so I may be checking the other merchants like the children dresses and toys for the godchildren and cookware for the women friends. Almost all my brothers are into computers, so I know exactly what to give them.

I believe in the saying, it is better to give than to receive so I am also giving myself something. Guess what it is.

SANJAYA IS STILL ON HAIR RAISING MOMENT

Remember Sanjaya Malakar, the former American Idol who made a sensation with his different hairstyle every week? He kept his cool despite the insult heaped upon him by
the judges for having avoided being eliminated for a few weeks during the semi-finals.

He has now a tv ad which features, guess what...his hair.

He is also into recording songs for his album.

WAKE UP TO A NEW KIND OF WATER SPORTS

After watching the wakeboarding at Camsur Watersports Complex when he spent his summer vacation in his grandparents’ hometown last year, my nephew was never the same again. This year, he and his friends asked their parents to buy them Ronix wakeboards
before flying again last June to watch the wakeboarding championship and try their learned skills as beginners.

His father who does not know much about this water sports scratched his head when my nephew bought not only one wakeboard. He bought two. He said one is a back-up.Even though his wakeboard hardware allows him to make switch, he is not yet into different kinds of tricks. Give him some more months of wakeboarding and he must be enjoying the change in the fins and bindings.So with complete paraphernalia in wakeboarding… the vest, hoodies, t-shirts, jacket and caps, he flew to Camsur together with his mother and friends.

The mother almost fainted when she saw her son “flying” over the surface of water and realized what wakeboarding water sports really is.The next day, she just stayed home and waited for my nephew who came home still pumping adrenaline after hours of the activities.

She is happy however that he is now enjoying and looking forward to coming home to visit his grandparents and engage in his new hobby,wakeboarding. He is high alright but he’s high up there with his wakeboard surfing the water.

JENNIFER ANISTON IS NO KISS AND TELL ACCORDING TO FRIENDS
