WAKE UP TO A NEW KIND OF WATER SPORTS

After watching the wakeboarding at Camsur Watersports Complex when he spent his summer vacation in his grandparents’ hometown last year, my nephew was never the same again. This year, he and his friends asked their parents to buy them Ronix wakeboards
before flying again last June to watch the wakeboarding championship and try their learned skills as beginners.

His father who does not know much about this water sports scratched his head when my nephew bought not only one wakeboard. He bought two. He said one is a back-up.Even though his wakeboard hardware allows him to make switch, he is not yet into different kinds of tricks. Give him some more months of wakeboarding and he must be enjoying the change in the fins and bindings.So with complete paraphernalia in wakeboarding… the vest, hoodies, t-shirts, jacket and caps, he flew to Camsur together with his mother and friends.

The mother almost fainted when she saw her son “flying” over the surface of water and realized what wakeboarding water sports really is.The next day, she just stayed home and waited for my nephew who came home still pumping adrenaline after hours of the activities.

She is happy however that he is now enjoying and looking forward to coming home to visit his grandparents and engage in his new hobby,wakeboarding. He is high alright but he’s high up there with his wakeboard surfing the water.
